A vacancy has arisen for an Administration Assistant to join our Practice Support team. This is a full time opportunity working 9am-
5.15pm Monday to Friday. You will be based in either the Exeter or Truro office. Our hybrid working model and approach to flexible
working enables our people to share their working time between home and office to support a healthy work- life balance.

The Practice Support Team ensures that the firm meets its legal and regulatory requirements for the protection of our clients and
employees.
The Role:
You will be working as an Administration Assistant supporting our Practice Support Team and providing an efficient and effective
service by assisting the team within a support administration role.
You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties, including, but not limited to:
- Encouraging and supporting the implementation of best practice and professional compliance by legal teams and their
members across the firm;
- Screening department emails and calls. Assisting with queries or referring them to the relevant member of the team as
appropriate;
- Monitoring compliance with anti-money laundering procedures and assisting fee earners and support staff to implement
these procedures;
- Monitoring compliance with file review procedures and assisting fee earners and support staff to implement these
procedures;
- Providing support with new client take-on procedures and due diligence;
- Assisting with data collection and report management;
- Auditing files to ensure compliance checks have been carried out and that they comply with the firm’s policies;
- Maintaining and updating records;
- Assisting with the resolution of other practical file management problems such as inactive files or unbilled disbursements;
- Assisting with the maintenance of, and the development of content for, the team’s intranet page.
Are you the right person?
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly organised with developed critical thinking abilities and excellent communication and
analytical skills. Adaptability and flexibility are key, as you will be required to have a hands-on, proactive approach to daily
administrative tasks within the team. Previous experience of working in a compliance role and/or professional services environment
is an advantage.
You will also have good ICT and typing skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook. Some travel between the offices may
be required.
