Overview
NHS Somerset is looking to recruit a Band 4 Commissioning Support Assistant to join the organisation.
This is a key commissioning support role for the Planned Care, Cancer and Long-Term Conditions team. The post supports commissioning activities including arranging meetings, holding action logs and drafting communications and other documentation. The role offers a good overview of commissioning work and is a good step for someone looking to develop a career in the Integrated Care Board.
You will have excellent organisational skills and a sound, working knowledge of MS office packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Excel etc., alongside excellent communication skills both written, face-to-face and over the telephone.
This post is based at NHS Somerset HQ – Wynford House, Lufton Way, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8HR. We operate a blended approach to home / office working.

This is a fixed term post of 37.5 hours per week. Part time/Job Share and Secondment opportunities will be considered. We are looking to cover this on an interim basis whilst the current post holder is on secondment.
