Due to continued success and future business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for two Business Administration Apprentices to join our Group Legal team based at our head office in Barlborough, Chesterfield.

    Joining our team as our Business Administration Apprentice, you will be responsible for providing administrative services to our Group legal department, supporting the day-to-day activities, ensuring that work is accurately, promptly and effectively carried out.

    Key duties and requirements

    You will also be responsible for but not limited to;

    • Providing general day to day administration and ad hoc support to the Group legal team.
    • Arranging meetings on behalf of the team when requested.
    • To attend, take and transcribe team Meetings.
    • Assisting in the preparation of key status reports and updates.
    • Coordination of administration materials.
    • Raising department Purchase Orders and checking department invoices.
    • Ad hoc reports as requested.

    Who are we looking for?

    The successful candidates will be able to adapt to working in a fast-paced environment whilst also possessing the ability to learn and develop knowledge of the Avant Homes business with a focus on legal conveyancing.

    To be considered for this role you must also possess:

    • Level 2 Maths and English (GCSE grade 4/C) in order to meet eligibility criteria for the L3 Apprenticeship.
    • Excellent organisational skills.
    • The ability to work under own initiative and manage time effectively.
    • A flexible and adaptable approach to changing requirements.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.

    Successful applicants will be required to attend a short interview and complete the enrolment process with our learning provider, Chesterfield College.

    The level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship will be taught remotely.
