Background of department and role
Reporting to the Web Content Development Manager, the Content Producer is responsible for writing, developing, optimising and publishing content and copy for Canterbury Christ Church University’s digital platforms, including the University’s website, blogs, social media, email campaigns and downloadable content. As a creative storyteller you will promote the University within brand guidelines and ensure consistent messaging with the University’s mission and values, through writing, imagery, and film.
The Content Producer works with colleagues in the Department of Marketing and Communications and the wider University to continually improve audience’s online experience by producing high quality digital content in support of our student recruitment and profile building opportunities.
You will have experience in using content management systems and editing websites and will generate content that incorporates SEO best practices and guidelines and supports user journeys. The post holder will produce regular performance analysis and robust strategies for content development, ensuring effectiveness and operational functionality and usability.
