Highcliffe Castle is a magnificent Grade 1 listed building located on the south coast. The Castle suffered two severe fires in the 1960s, following this time, the Castle started a ten-phase restoration plan in the early 1990s to partially restore this magnificent building. Today the Castle is owned and operated by BCP Council.
The successful applicants will join the team to support the range of functions that the Castle delivers to its clients. Previous experience in hospitality or the customer service sector is desired but full training will be given.
You will be delivering client appointments, so you will need to be confident when engaging with new people. You will have an eye for detail and be competent in administrative tasks. You will assist with all areas of the business and be required to work late evenings and weekends.
The Castle is a busy heritage site which is open Sunday – Thursday to welcome visitors, and a popular venue to hire, with the team providing weddings and functions on Fridays and Saturdays.
