Overview
Strode College is looking for colleagues who can support our students as they develop employability skills, achieve their learning ambitions and gain the personal and social skills they need to prepare for the next stage in their lives.
You’ll be working with students with learning difficulties or disabilities from Entry Level to Advanced Level to provide in-class support with a focus on learning with individual and/or groups of students, general support across the campus and in the workplace as required. This role will include an element of intimate personal care. Experience of working with sensory impairment, physical disability, mental health, challenging behaviour, ASD or SpLD is desirable.
You must have a good knowledge of learning difficulties and disabilities whilst having excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
£19,300 per annum pro rata
Hours 37 per week – 36 weeks per year
