Overview
The Role
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our busy Family department based from Grimsby working in the areas of Immigration and Family law on a full time, permanent basis. You may potentially be expected to work remotely for a time at the start of the appointment but ultimately the role is to be office based.
This position is suited to an organised person with excellent interpersonal skills as well as the passion to help drive the branch forwards. We welcome applications from organised and accurate individuals who take initiative. Applicants must have good typing skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail. A background working in the legal sector is highly desirable. All applicants are advised that due to the nature of the work they may be exposed to matters of a distressing nature.
Duties
The role will include but is not limited to:
diary management;
audio typing (high volume);
e-mail management;
sending & receiving e-mails;
travel arrangements;
client contact;
liaising with internal staff and external parties;
drafting documents; and
general administration duties.
Skills
We are accepting applications from individuals who:
are educated to GCSE levels 4-9, A to C or higher (equivalent qualifications accepted);
have a good and accurate typing speed;
have a positive approach to working under pressure within a busy environment;
possess strong administrative and organisational skills;
are highly IT literate; and
have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
