The Dundee Community Mental Health & Learning Disability Services provide multidisciplinary assessment, support and treatment for those experiencing a range of long term mental health and learning disability conditions. We are looking to recruit a Band 2 Receptionist/Clerical Assistant to join our busy services based in Wedderburn House, Dundee.
Your permanent base may be subject to change and you may be required to work in other Dundee Community Mental Health bases due to service demand.
This is a busy, interesting and varied post. Applicants should possess excellent IT skills and interpersonal skills. Your ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of professionals and service users, who may have barriers to communication and understanding, will be paramount. You should have an ability to work under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Confidentiality will be expected in all aspects of the role.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment. Hours of work are: 37.5, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Although the service currently functions over a 5 day week, this may change in the future to 7 day working.
