We are looking to recruit a Resourcing Advisors to join the team here at Colas and help us continue our journey for talent acquisition. Our offering to the business is continually evolving and we’re constantly developing the value we add as a centre of expertise.
Working closely with the Resourcing Partner, you’ll be aligned to a business unit and responsible for the transactional recruitment process across all vacancies in that area.
As a business, our biggest resourcing challenge is the availability of the skills we need to fulfil the requirements. Your role is to help us source, engage and hire the skills and talent your area of the business needs to operate and grow.

Your role is to focus on the fulfilment of all vacancies in line with process. To achieve this, your activities will include
Liaise with hiring managers to fully understand the requirements of all roles
Ensure role profiles are accurate and fit for purpose
Utilise all advertising channels to maximise candidate attraction
Source and directly engage candidates via social media and job boards
Maximise all opportunities for candidate referrals
Timely and cost effect fulfilment of all vacancies and requirements
Facilitate internal moves
Creation of engaging candidate content including job adverts
Manage the offer process for successful candidates
Collaborate with HR to support colleagues and ensure candidates have a positive recruitment and on boarding experience.
The Ideal Candidate
Ideally, you’ll have experience of either internal or agency recruitment. But this is not essential. What’s more important is your attitude and behaviour.
We’re looking for people who genuinely want to develop a career within internal resourcing. The key elements we’re looking for are:
Good time management
Ability to build a rapport with managers, employees and supply chain
You should have a strong attention to detail and be able to use data to make informed decisions. You’ll also be comfortable working in an environment where priorities change quickly and workloads fluctuate.
