The role

As a Trainee CCTV Pipeline Inspection Operative, you will be responsible for individual site activities while carrying out duties as instructed by the team leader, following safe systems of work, ensuring the delivery of CCTV sewer surveys and providing feedback to all clients.

You will work closely with the Sewer Asset Surveying Supervisor, Technician and Task Controllers. You will ensure work is undertaken, targets are met and work is carried out while following all health and safety policy and procedures, as well as making sure best practices are adhered to and the health, safety and welfare of all colleagues, the public and yourself is maintained at all times.

What do I need?

No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided. It would however be beneficial if you have any of the following certificates:

confined space entry

manual handling

new roads and streetworks

chapter 8 signing and guarding (unit 2).

Experience in the use of radio tracing and CAT and Genny equipment would also be beneficial.
