About us

As an Apprentice within our HR Workforce Data Team, you will be part of a team responsible for providing HR related business information reports and ensuring the accuracy of data in Personnel Administration, Payroll, and organisation modules. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including statutory returns and payroll requirements, while developing your skills and knowledge in the field. Under the guidance of the HR Business Information Lead, you will make a valuable contribution to our team and the wider organisation.

    About the role

    In this role you’ll contribute to the work of providing HR related business information reports, while studying to achieve the Level 3 business administration apprenticeship throughout your time with us. We’ll give you time during your working week for study and assessments- which means no evening or weekend study is required!

    You will work towards being able to undertake the range of duties listed below:

    Assisting in report development and validation

    Ensuring master data meets statutory and business requirements

    Providing reports using technical tools in our HR records system, SAP

    Supporting ongoing validation of master data

    Working on statutory returns, employment terms, and payroll requirements

    Any-Desk:
    As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements*.

    Able to use Microsoft packages

    Good written and verbal communication skills

    Strong numeracy skills

    Good planning and organisational skills

    Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

    Eligibility Criteria:
    Qualified to Level 1 or above in Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE Maths and English grades A* – C/9-4 or equivalent), or Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship Qualification.

    Please note: You will not be eligible for this post if you have a Degree in the same subject as this apprenticeship, or other qualifications in the same subject at an equivalent level.

    Duration of Apprenticeship:
    Our apprenticeship roles are on a fixed term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship. Level 3 is usually for about 18 months.

    Salary:
    Your initial apprentice salary will be £9,279.86 p.a for your first year (increasing to £10,186.62 from 1st April 23) and will go up to National Minimum Wage if you are 19+ when you start the 2nd year of your apprenticeship. All your training will be funded by us. As well as the salary, our apprentices are eligible to:

    Future Prospects

    We cannot guarantee a permanent position following completion of the apprenticeship, however this is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop skills in HR and data management.
